The Tearney Lab is a dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the field of medical imaging technologies. Our diverse group of researchers, including students, engineers, post-doctoral fellows, and clinical fellows, work in close collaboration to push the boundaries of whatโs possible. Together, we invent cutting-edge technologies, rigorously validate them in preclinical settings, and lead transformative projects that pave the way for medical breakthroughs. At the heart of our lab is a talented engineering team, consisting of professional engineers and skilled technicians, who bring ideas to life by designing and fabricating devices using industry-standard design control processes. Once these devices are perfected, our dedicated clinical team, alongside expert collaborators, takes them to the next level by conducting first-in-human trials and larger clinical validation studies, ensuring their safety and efficacy in real-world settings. Our progress is fueled by the support of a highly organized administrative team and the strong collaborations we have cultivated with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and leading academic institutions around the globe. Together, we are accelerating the translation of medical imaging technologies from the lab bench to the patientโs bedside, making a lasting impact on healthcare and improving lives worldwide.
